The Green Rue Route

This tourist route leads through Lithuanian villages in Poland. This Lithuanian nook of Poland is known for its songs and folk dance groups, industrious farmers, some museums, Lithuanian publishing house, the Lithuanian Centre in Sejny, the Lithuanian Culture Centre in Puńsk, some monuments for bookdistributors, Lithuanian partisans who fought in years 1944-55 or volunteers who struggled for freedom of this Lithuanian part of country in years 1818-20.

This specific spot is also known for wooden crucifixes near farmsteads, waysides or at cemeteries.

The green rue decorates our gardens and wayside crosses.
